I'm experiencing the same problem and am devastated. Working in Real Estate this is the best camera I have ever used. My camera is charged and when powered on the lcd startup screen comes on, the 3 blue lights turn on and the lens never opens up. For a time I was able to hold it open and take photos, but now it just shuts back off automatically after a few seconds. Help!

I have the same problem Kodak refuses to acknowledge that this is an inherent design flaw. Do a google search and you will find hundreds of others with the same problem There Asian support team provides no relief for this problem other than sending in the camera w/135.00 and they may be able to repair. They do not send out replacments. If it can not be repaired, your done! Kodak needs to take a hard look at there customer service and how they are providing it to their customers.

The only solution is to send it in to United Camera for repair, main bord has gone bad. Kodak will still not admit problem, but with enough pressure they will reduce the 135.00 charge to half. It worked for me and now I have my camera back in good working order. Don't give up with the csr's, ask to speak to a manager.

Como corregir un errror E45 en una kodak V570

The bad news is that this error means the lens alignment of your camera is messed up and it will take repair service to fix it. The cost of this might be equivalent to replacing the camera.

You need an LCD, dedicated for V570. V610 and V705 are different. There is an Interlock up side the Connector you can rise up with a Needle. Than pull out the Cable and insert the new one.

Camera wont soom

Please also try to upload new firmware: I doubt that it will solve the issue, but the alternative is a repair and your camera model is no longer repaired by KODAK due to shortage of spare parts.

Instructions to upgrading the firmware for: V570
Connect the camera with the computer.
Turn the camera on.
Click onto the link and follow the instructions.

The flash on my Kodak V570 does not appear to be working. There are 4 settings and I put the setting on the flash so that it fires every time you take a picture, regardless of the lighting conditions. Only...

Try and download the firmware:

If this doesn't solve the problem.
KODAK suggests a repair for this fault.
However due to spare part shortage this model is no longer repaired. Instead KODAK offers a trade up option where you will have the opportunity to trade up to a newer model 25-30% cheaper than the market price.

Will not turn on?

Depending on when you bought the camera and how often you've used it, the battery may be dead. If you haven't had the camera very long, it's possible that the battery may be faulty. If you can find someone with the same camera, ask if you can try their working battery in your camera. If that doesn't work, it may be your camera.
