I need to know how to reset the resolution setting on my Fujifilm Digital Camera FinePix S5700/FinePix S700? Can you help me get the best quality? It isn't blurry, but I think it could be better. Maybe, I can't get any better than the settings I have already. What should my settings be to get the best quality pictures from this camera? Can anyone tell me, Please? Thank You, Vickie
My pictures look perfect in the view finder, but come out on the computer as grainy.....also, my S setting does not change when I attempt to change the lighting......I shoot approx 30 pictures a day of homes for the multi-listing service in our area.....So I really need a good dependable camera...the s5700 has been great until today.

Press "F" for about half a second to bring up the F-Mode menu. Use cursor-up/down to select "QUALITY" and press cursor-right. Change the setting as desired.
Full details are in the the "Using the F-MODE MENU (Photography)/SHOOTING MENU" section of the manual (page 75 in my copy). If you need a manual, you can download one at http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/manuals/pdf/index/s/finepix_s5700_s700_s5800_s800_manual_01.pdf
Ew. Sounds like she broke something inside. Many cameras made today are considered to be disposable. If they break under warranty, then you may have to call your extended warranty insurance company, if you have that coverage.
Otherwise, it might be better to replace with a newer camera that has the same features for a lower cost than your fujifilm finepix s5700.
Technology is always changing at a break neck speed, and repair centers are unlikely to be able to fix miniature cameras as easily as one would like.
Download the manual from http://www.myacrobatpdf.com/7730/fujifilm-finepix-s5700-finepix-s700-manual.html for detailed instructions. Otherwise, connect a USB cable to the camera and to your PC. Switch the camera on and wait for the computer to recognise it. It should appear as another disk drive under "My Computer" Double click on the drive and it will open the folder structure. You can now right click and "copy" the photos from the camera to the computer folder you wish to put them in
