Question about Panasonic PT-AE700U Multimedia Projector
I have a Freecom MediaPlayer-350 connected to my Panasonic PT-AE700 projector via a HDMI cable.
I get a picture only if the MP-350 is set to NTSC mode (can have up to 1080i setting).
If I set the MP-350 to PAL (even at a lower resolution, eg. 480p) then nothing comes out on the AE700.
Any ideas if there is a firmware bug in the AE700?
Anyone updated the firmware in the AE700?
How do I find out what version firmware I have?
SOURCE: Panasonic PT-AX200 lamp problem
I have the same problem (cycling between 2 brightness levels). I contacted the shop and the salesman (who is an expert in home cinema installations etc) told me that it has to be the last hours of my lamp's life... I don't know yet, I'll find out soon though...

since it has worked 1200 hours or even more since u have been resetting the counter! just change the lamp, resetting the counter does not make the lamp work or not work , it is only a reminder for the user to change the bulb when it should be & that u have some balance hours left to procure a new lamp!
if the brightness is adequate, then it is a ballast problem & not lamp problem!
buy a new lamp as u will anyway need to , fit it & it may solve ur problems permanently!
