Download pictures to computer

Copy photos from cell phone to computer
Connect the supplied USB cable from your cell phone to the USB port on your computer.
The computer will see the cell phone as an external storage device or an external mass storage device, you can then open the photo folder on your cell phone and copy the photos to your computer. If the photos are stored on a mini or micro SD memory card then - An alternate method is to remove the mini or micro SD memory card from the cell phone and insert it into an USB card reader then connect it to the USB port on your computer. You can then open the photo folder on the micro or micro SD memory card and copy the photo to your computer.

Razr v3r

Hi folks - I took apart and totally destroyed my Verizon branded RAZR V3m. There is NO SIM card. Instead, there is a memory chip hard wired to the circuit board. From what I saw, this memory chip is preprogrammed with the phone number and carrier features. The card picture referred to above is for the micro SD card. This card is just for additional memory - for pics, video, and music, dependent on the carrier. I also went to the Motorola web site. They're unlocked RAZR V3's have a SIM slot underneath the battery. Bottom Line? If your RAZR V3 doesn't have a SIM card slot under the battery, forget it. You can not change carriers.

Retrieving data, broken screen

hi
The Phone needs a new Keypad flex and most likely a left hinge pin. When the phone is open, the cable runs through the left side of the hinge. It is very common for the hinge pin to become chipped and put a small cut in the Flex Cable.
You can get the parts on ebay. search for motorola v3 keypad flex, and motorola v3 hinge, or knuckle.

thankyou.

Where do you put the Micro SD card in a Motorola V3 Phone.

It depends on your carrier or phone model.

Verizon Wireless still uses the CDMA network. CDMA gets the phone user ID from a programmed chip hardwired to the phone instead of a SIM card.

Because of this, there is room underneath the battery cover, south of the battery on the right side of the compartment for a mini-SD card.

Other carriers such as T-Mobile, Cingular/AT&T DO use SIM cards to store user ID, so there is not room for a memory card.

I do know that the MotoRazr2 V9 from AT&T DOES accept Micro-SD cards.

But if you have a GSM carrier such as T-Mobile or AT&T, the Razr V3 does not have a card slot.

Removing the Chip

If it really is a sim chip, then I don't know. I know about Verizon razr, which doesn't use a sim card. However Verizon razr has a memory card, which people might mistakenly refer to as sim chip, that stores photos and music. It doesn't come with the phone, so if you purchased the phone you'd know whether or not you have one. If your phone is like the Verizon razr, then remove the battery cover and the battery. The memory card, if it is installed, is just to your right (when looking into the back) of the vertical center. It's about the size of a finger nail. Use your thumbnail to pull it (towards the top of the phone) out of the slot. Then insert the card into the adapter card that came in the package when you purchased the memory card, and put the adapter card into the smart reader slot in your printer or pc.
