Question about Zenith Z35X21D 35" TV
The tv went black we can hear what is on the tv we just can not see it, we have repaired it several years ago and it was the transistors. the color was either all green or bubbly in places. could i possibly need a new picture tube or should i trash this one since it is over 10 yrs old and get a new one?
Try a hard restart, which simply means unplugging the power cord of the TV, and replugging it after 4 hours have passed. If this does not bring the picture back, then you should consider buying a new TV. The costs of a repair ( labor and parts) might exceed the cost of a new TV. Your 10 year old TV has served you well, and has exceeded the average life expectancy of 5 years. May it rest in peace in TV heaven.
