Fisher and Paykell DD601 V2 Top Drawer Overflowing

We have a dd601 V2 Dishdrawer overflowing problem. Bottom drawer works fine, its the top drawer we are having problems with. After it has finished filling and changes into the wash cycle it floods. The water pours out from the air vent at the back of the drawer and we get the F1 signal. We have left the drawer to dry out for a week but hasnt helped. When putting on the rinse cycle to test it once it has filled and we pull the drawer out, the water level appears to have filled over the air outlet level? Auy thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.....thanks!

I suggest pressing the keylock and power button together, hold for 5 secs, the display will change orange, the display should read HP if it says LP, press the start button to make display read HP.Then press power button to store. You will need to manually removed the water from the machine before restarting

Fisher paykel dishdrawer bottom drawer washes fine leaves water in top drawer

At some point the two drawers individual drain hoses are joined using a "Y' type connector. Check this, and everything beyond this point for restrictions or blockage. It sounds like the bottom drawer is pumping its drain water out normally, but some of that water is backing up to the upper drawer. This is an installation or plumbing problem that is external of the dishdrawers.

F3 alarm in F&P DD601 is linked to water temperature. If you are using cold water supply connection, then it is likely the heater unit or temperature sensor has gone faulty. If you are using hot water supply direct then the inlet water temperature is exceeding recommended range of approx 65deg C. DD601 is a fairly old unit and not sure if you can still get some parts.

Fisher and Paykel dishdrawer, lid not retracting, no power.

By no power you may be implying there is no display etc and the swithces are not working. Most likely the controller of the top drawer has had it. The controller is mounted on the front of the drawer behind the door panel. Hope things are better than that.

Fisher & Paykel DD601 top drawer won't start. When start button pressed dishwasher just makes a beeping sound and will not start. Bottom drawer works normally. Any help appreciated.

Most likely the micro-switch that tells the controller that the drawer is closed is broken. Its a tiny little black switch at the back of the left drawer slide, it had a metal actuator that is prone to breaking.

Dishdrawer Door Switch DD601 v2

i had teh exact same problem, pull the face of the door off (by the plastic screw pins either side of the drawer) remove the face and open the plastic box which contains the circuit boards, on the lower right you will find the actuator, and i bet you will find the crappy quality plastic has broken, you will have to either source out one of these or do as i did and made one out of copper which works perfectly
