If you want to enter alphanumeric characters, when setting it up, choose 'Strong alphanumeric', under the 'Password type' dropdown menu. The password must be at least 7 characters long, and contain at least 3 of the following: uppercase and lowercase letters, numerals, and punctuation.
Hope it works for you.

Hi, Please visit below website http://www.unlockforum.com/showthread.php/11875-Imate-Ultimate-9502-Hard-reset you can find unlock on right side. from their you will able to unlock.
The only way I know to bypass the password request procedure is to hard reset. You must, most probably, know that a hard reset will reset your device to its factory defaults, thus deleting all programs you have installed, as well as your personal data and settings. Anyway, to hard reset your device, slide its keyboard open. Then, press and hold both the blue 'Fn' and the green 'Call/Send' buttons, and, whilst keeping them pressed, briefly press the reset pin with the stylus pen. Release the keys only when a confirmation request screen comes up. Confirm the procedure by pressing the left softkey (which should be labeled 'Yes'). Hope you are able to sort your problems oute. Best regards, Carlos

need unlock code for ur mobile to get unlock, i found a site here unlock can be done i found this last week just turn in to this http://www.unlock-zone.com/
I suppose you better hard reset it. To do it, press and hold both the blue Fn and the green phone buttons, and, at the same time, use the stylus pen to press the reset button. When you release all buttons, a white screen will come up asking for confirmation. Do it by tapping 'Yes' (the left softkey, if I'm not mistaken).
