Re: sansae250 2gb player diaplay problem
Download Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisk website
These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3
Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa
players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do
not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues -
they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes,
flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.
Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer.Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced. Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website. Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the
computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull
down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor
over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow
underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary
slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything. Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware
upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in
the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have
the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to
find out: http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp If these fail, then: Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off,
hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer
while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button
for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into
recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says
Found New Hardware Wizard. If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version). You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods
to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE
shutting down your computer. -Tha Mp3 Doctor

Possible that the LCD is faulty or the linking flexible cord is damaged. Now cross check the recordings to be played through a TV using the external video port. If the picture recorded is clear then the LCD display is faulty. If not the CCD- the optical sensor of the camcorder- is faulty.
Try and warm up the camcorder and see if the fault changes. If so the presence of moisture can also cause these issues.
Hi, the Sansa E260 is a portable MP3 player released by SanDisk in 2004. Several problems may cause the E260 to not function as intended from time to time. Common problems that occur are the device freezing, album art not appearing on the screen when a song is playing, pictures not filling the screen size and missing information on the separate tracks. You can troubleshoot the device and fix many of these common problems without the need of a service technician.
Reset 1. The Sansa E260 may freeze or function in other unexpected ways from time to time. This generally occurs when the unit's software has developed an error. Reset the device to clear the error and return the device to normal working operation. A unit reset is similar to rebooting your computer. You won't lose any data stored on your device.
To reset the E260, press and hold the "Power/Menu" button for about 15 seconds. The device will be forced to power down, during which the error will be cleared. You can restart the E260 as normal once the reset is complete. Album Art Does Not Display 2. The E260 supports viewing album art on the display screen during the playing of a song. You may find that your album art is not showing up on the display when music is playing on the device. To fix this, make sure the associated album art file is in the same folder as the song being played. You will need to connect the E260 into your computer to move the album art files into the music folder. Photos Aren't Full-Screen 3. Photos displayed on the E260 will not show up as full-screen shots if they are not cropped to the correct dimensions. The E260 software does not support stretching pictures to fit the full screen. To ensure your photographs will display on the full screen, crop the images to 128x64 in photo-editing software prior to transferring the image on the E260. Unknown Artist or Album 4. The E260 displays information about each song using the ID3 tags associated with each track. ID3 tags hold information such as the artist name, album name, track number, year it was released and other information. If the E260 shows an artist or album as unknown, the information in the ID3 tag was not filled in. You can insert information into the ID3 tags from your computer.
To change the ID3 information, right-click on the music file and choose "Properties." Click on the "Summary" tab and choose "Advanced." The ID3 fields will display in the window. Insert any of the missing information and click "OK." When you upload the song onto your E260, the newly inserted information will show up in the display.
Launch Cydia: First double click the Cydia desktop icon which will launch the application as shown below.
Cydia Sources: First click the Manage in the bottom Cydia navigation menu which will open the window below.
Now click on Sources to open the package source management window as shown below.
Add New Source: Click the Edit button located in the top right of the window shown in the above image which will allow you to add new sources, edit current sources, or delete current sources. After clicking the Edit button a new button titled Add will appear in the top left of the window so click that to add cydia.hackulo.us as shown below. Once you have the new source location filled in click the Add Source button to complete the addition.
**NOTE** You may be required to reboot your iPhone or iPod Touch after installing the cydia.hackulo.us source as noted by pinkurinal in the comments. Keep this in mind when attempting to install AppSync below.
Search For AppSync: After you have added the new source above it might take a moment for the new packages to sync but once they do go back to the Cydia home screen and then click the Search button located on the right side of the bottom navigation. Type “AppSync” in the search window and click the blue Search button which should provide results similar to the below image.
Install AppSync: Now install the correct version of AppSync based on the firmware version on your iPhone or iPod Touch. In my case I have firmware version 3.0 on my Touch so I installed AppSync for OS 3.0 by clicking on the app in the search results. After clicking on the app in the search results click on the Install button in the top right corner of the window as shown below.
After clicking Install the details of AppSync will display and you will need to click the Confirm button also in the top right corner of the window as shown in the below image.
The AppSync source will now downloaded and install on your iDevice. Once completed a screen similar to the below will display and allow you to return to Cydia while AppSync will be installed and ready to use.
Sync Apps Via iTunes: Now return to iTunes and drag the unsigned application into iTunes and then click the Sync button to sync the applications with the jailbroken iPhone or Touch that now has AppSync installed. The signature verification is removed from the Springboard with AppSync so the error will no longer appear and you will be able to use the unsigned application you have downloaded or created.
