Motorola Headset S9 Control Keys Prob.

Hi
i am using motorola S9 for last one year.
I had the same problem of controls keys which i have corrected of my own.
Most of the sites i read say's this problem is due to the moisture.
Let me tell its not because of moisture.
Below steps will help you guys hopefully if its only the keys control problem.
Take the headset,The control keys are placed near the ear plugs within a area
which is different from the other part.
now what u have to do is just take some sharp thing or your nails enough and
move it around the control keys area (edges) and peel off the rubber layer
carefully. Please note its very soft rubber so be careful not tear it off else it
will be spoiled completely.
After u remove this layer u wll find layer of plastic attached to the rubber
whichh u took out and the same kind on the base. you will fin ther will be
small vertical lines and center one dot on the peeled out rubber and on base
horizontal 2-3 thin lines at the edges and dot at the centre.
actually thes are the contacts which acts as a switch if u observe it would have
been covered with the rubber kind of gum used to stick thes layers.
Just clean these (only)contacts area with piece of cloth and use some rubber kind
of glue (Do not use Feviquik it will spoil the strips completely) at edges and put
it back ,b4 fixing it gum u can test it by just keeping it and check if the keys
are working then fix every thing as it was b4 and stick the peeled out rubber panel
with the same type of glue.
there u are ur problem is solved enjoy the best music experirnce with your S9.
If u have any problem or Queries please post it i wll try to answer as soon as
possible.
if u want a video for this i wll b up loading it soon and post d link.

My s9 headphone not on of work tell me wath i do

make sure you charge the S9 using a motorola mini usb AC charger or a mini USB cord plugged into a live port.
press and hold the circle vertical bar until the light is steady blue and pair it with your bluetooth device. you only have two buttons at the rear of the device under the motorola logo.

Problem with Motorola S9 Wireless Headset.

Check:
  • Your sound card's Mixer Panel to ensure you have left/right adjusted properly
  • Your sound card may have a speaker-test function, my RealTek tests with "Left" "Right" speech
  • Check your connectors (head phone & speakers) to ensure they are compatible with your sound card
  • Make sure the plug is FULLY inserted in the speaker card socket, it doesn't take much NOT to be fully inserted
dont forget to rate me.......
good luck......

The right side of my headphone is playing music but the right side is not playing anything

Time for a new one if it's out of warranty! I doubt the cost of repair would make it worthwhile!

Can't get my computer to discover my s9 headphones. There are no other BT devices connected. The blue light is on...

What bluetooth adapter are you using on your computer? Get the manual for the S9 from the Motorola web site: it will tell you that the blue light is related to mono voice/microphone, and flashing green is all about stereo musioc, no microphone.
So what are you trying to do with your S9?
On your computer it can be hands-free, or a stereo headset. It has two personalities, and you should see the two modes in your bluetooth configuration screen on the PC.
From what I see in the Motorola manual, if you click the right ear button for "Play/pause" it is supposed to kick the headset into A2DP stereo playback.

Motorola S9 headset plays music in one ear

I had the same problem with a Samsung phone. There are two ways of fixing this; First, you can remove the S9 profile from your phone's bluetooth list, and then add it again, going through pairing and entering 0000 on your phone when asked for the code.
Alternatively, you might try pressing the "play" button on the right earpiece on the Motorola S9. This is supposed to kick it into the A2DP stereo mode for music listening.
Good luck.
And get a copy of the manual from the Motorola web site at http://direct.motorola.com/ens/s9/Headset_Home.asp I found this very handy for checking what the little flashing lights mean. When you get stereo reception, the little LED in the middle of the headset flashes green, not the usual blue and red and purple for voice calls.
In case you didn't know, as a phone headset, with the microphone activated, you only get sound in your left ear, and the light flashes blue. For music, you get both ears, and it flashes green. So if it ain't green, you are in mono mode.
