I HAVE A PIXMA 510. ALL AT ONCE WHEN I PRINT PREVIEW AND IT TELLS IF 4 OR MORE PAGES I CLICK ON 6 OR MORE IT SHOWS 4 OR MORE IT SHOWS 4 PAGES' BUT THER ARE 2 BLANK PAGES AND 2 PAGES AND WILL NOT PRINE COMPLETE MSG. I HAVE REINSTALLED THE DISK FOR THE MP510 AND RESTARTED SYSTEM. NO HELP

Hi-

How bout when you are copying a document, is it not printing the whole documents as well? Pls try to print a nozzle check

Print the nozzle check pattern to determine whether the ink ejects properly from the Print Head.

1. Make sure that the machine is turned on, open the Front Feeder, and extend the Output Paper Support.

2. Load a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in the Auto Sheet Feeder or the Front Feeder.

Set the Paper Thickness Lever to the left.

3. Press the Paper Feed Switch to select the paper source where you have loaded paper.

4. Print the nozzle check pattern.

(1) Press the Menu button.
(2) Use theI HAVE A PIXMA 510. - leftright.gif button to select Maintenance/settings, then press the <OK> button.
The Maintenance/settings screen is displayed.
(3) Use theleftright.gif button to select Maintenance, then press the <OK> button.
The Maintenance screen is displayed.
(4) Use the updown.gifbutton to select Nozzle check and then press the <OK> button.

(5) UsI HAVE A PIXMA 510. - updown.gifsrc="http://i.fixya.net/uploads/images/updown.gif" alt="updown.gif" class="h_mi" /> button to select Yes and then press the <OK> button.
The nozzle check pattern is printed, and the pattern confirmation screens are displayed alternately.

If that didn't printer correctly run some deep cleaning.

Perform this steps when you have a good printout from copying.

If not then chances are you need to replace the print head...

Canon mx892 error code U052


Please try the following to see if we can resolve this error:
1. Open the cover of the printer.
2. Remove all ink tanks from the printer.
3. Lift up the gray locking lever on the side of the ink tank holder.
4. Gently remove the print head from the carriage unit.
5. Place the print head back in and lock the lever down.
6. Place all of the ink tanks back in the printer.
7. Close the cover and turn the printer off.
8. Unplug the power from the printer. Leave the power unplugged for about 5-10 minutes.
Once this has been done, plug the power back in and turn the printer on. If the error persists, you will need to replace the print head

Fax problem with mx432, I get an alarm sound on the last page i am sending and it tells me to eject the page


it might be a laser printer, these are thermal printer, they sometime overheat and flash false error messages
for the noise you can check the condition of the paper rollers

I have a MP280 printer/scanner/copier that prints my photos out to dark, when it is on the computer it is pefect colour


Open the printer driver setup window
Select the manual color adjustment (or if already in manual and it had initially been printing fine, you may opt to select Auto)
On the Main tab, select Manual for Color/Intensity, and click Set....
The Manual Color Adjustment dialog box opens.
Specify the brightness

Select Light, Normal, or Dark for Brightness, and click OK.
The current settings are displayed in the settings preview on the left side of the printer driver.
Complete the setup
Click OK on the Main tab.
When you execute print, the data is printed at the specified brightness.

How to stop to print the journal after send fax everytime?


Sending Confirmation
This report shows the fax number, the number of pages, elapsed time of
the operation, the communication mode, and the communication results.
You can set up your machine to print the message confirmation report in
one of the following ways (see page 5.3):
• Automatically after each transmission (ON)
• Automatically only if an error occurs during transmission (ERR)
• No report printed at all (OFF). You can print this report manually at
any time you want.
SENDING CONFIRM - A confirmation report shows whether the
transmission was successful or not, how many pages were sent, etc.
Select ON to print a confirmation report automatically each time you
send a fax.
Select OFF to turn this feature off.
Select ERROR to print only when an error occurs and the transmission
was not successful.

On page 117 of the manual it tells you how to set up confirmation. The manual is on link below. Once on the link scroll down and type in the # code and click on download now. You do not need to put your email address in if you do not want.

Change drum soon


Open the front panel.Press and hold the clear button.When "Drum replaced"shows on the lcd panel select yes.The message will be reset.If you experiece any lines in the future you will have to replace the drum catridge.

How do you program the machine to only print out falied fax confirmations?


Yes. SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin and Web Image Monitor let you remotely view a device's transmission history as well as its saved destination data. You can install SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin from the CD-ROM that was included with your device, or download it from the device's website. However, SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin can only be used on a computer which has the TCP/IP protocol correctly installed. Once you have confirmed that SmartDeviceMonitor is installed, to confirm that your fax was transmitted properly, follow these steps: 1.Open SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin by clicking [Start] on the taskbar, pointing to [All Programs] and then [SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin], and then clicking [SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin]. 2.Click the device whose information you wish to display. 3.On the [Tools] menu, click [Load Fax Journal]. 4.When Web Image Monitor opens in your web browser, click [Job], click [Fax History], and then click [Transmission].
