No signal

my computer turns on, all the fans work, but the screen is blank. it says there's no signal. i upgraded my cpu and video card, but that was a little over a month ago and it's worked fine up until now. i've tried putting the old ones in and the same thing happened. no signal. tried replugging, changing the ram, using different heatsink, changing monitors. thought it might be the power supply but i figured i would've had that problem from when i first upgraded. you think it might be the whole motherboard?

asus p5n-e sli mobo
nvidia geforce 8600gt
intel core2duo e8400 3g
liquid cooling
500w power supply
vista ultimate 64 bit
4 gb ram

Wizensure that you have connected your video cable to nvidia not on mobo video output.
