This can happen if there is data contained in the file that the player does not "understand". Things such as bit rate, text type and images that are embedded into the muci file all make a difference. Read the manual to see the recomended settings for ripping

Sounds like you have ripped the files at too high a rate - max 192kps on the stations

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Can't catagorize the music into files or playlists....?

okay, once you downloaded the file via Frostwire...you tag the file (name of track, artist, trk #, album name, genre and year) right...all this is in the folder where you downloaded...not using windows media.......lets skip that and go straight to the mp3 player...yep copy/paste or click/drag to mp3 from the PC...now your files are already tag ...this should help sort the file by any catagory you want to........

Playing of certain tracks

Some of those tracks are in the right format, the ones that are skipping are in the wrong format - convert them all to mp3 format and you will be fine

C cover art does not transfer to my zen vision m, only the music tracks transfer

A few possibilities. Go to http://193.95.171.83/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=224,E=0000000000373151655,K=1742,Sxi=15,Case=obj(8179),Kb=ww_english_add,VARSET=ws:http://us.creative.com/

for more details

Creative ZEN players do not currently support album art from Rhapsody version 4.0.
Album art is either embedded in a track, or exists as a thumbnail image in a separate file, allowing one album art file to be associated with an album. Currently, Rhapsody only supports album art embedded in the track. Future versions of Rhapsody are expected to support thumbnail versions.
Creative Media Explorer or Windows Media Player 10 or 11 can be used to transfer music purchased from Rhapsody to a player with album art included.

Album Art is supported by Creative ZEN, Creative ZEN V Plus, ZEN V, Vision:M and ZEN Vision players.
The ZEN Vision (PF1150) requires a firmware update for Album Art. You can download the updated firmware:
If you experience any difficulty transferring Album Art with Windows Media Player 10 or 11, to ZEN Vision:M, delete WMPInfo.xml (see below), and then transfer the tracks again.

Songs deleted, but empty space and song info. still remain

Get yourself anapod from Redchair software, this works on older PC's and you just drag and drop songs onto your ipod. Its also very easy to delete tracks aswell.Anapod supports adding and deleting photos onto the ipod.

I assume this is in a PC? Simply right click each title whilst in the PC and click on 'Rename' Or click file/save as/and give the file a name This incidently will leave an un-named copy on the computer
