Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC

1 Answer

Internet Connectivity We just puchased 3 T3656 emachines. Got them all up and running today. One will not recognize the network connection. No green light on the module when the cable is plugged in. I did see the light briefly on start-up. The other connected no problem. I've already called the supposed tech support number and they say they don't do emachines. The number they gave me to call is disconnected. I'm very frustrated and need help. I get this error message: The network adapter "Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC" is experiencing driver or hardware related issues.

Ipconfig is not working on my laptop

Check what is the ipaddress, tried to shut down the laptop and drain flea power. Then check if the laptop can detect wireless connection. Then ping website in command prompt.Try ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew. Try connecting wired internet connection to check if issue with operating system or browser or wireless connectivity.

Keep losing wireless network on laptop. completely disappears and can not find it to reconnect

Hi..
I was having the same issue with my notebook. I was losing connectivity to the internet at both home and office through my browsers and outlook consistantly after boot up for approximately 10 minutes. The only way to get more connectivity was to reboot my machine (ten more minutes). Emachines help desk was no help. Their fix all response was to format the harddrive and start over. What I did to fix it was:

Start
Control Panel
Network Connections
There, I disabled the wireless network connection and waited for the hourglass to go away. Then reenabled it and have had wireless connectivity since.

Good Luck ;-)
