How do I retrieve my pin number for my wireless router?

You should refer to your wireless router setup manual for pin number....

If you can reset the router back to factory settings(see below)

then you should be able to enter the default pin number inside the user's manual. Other than that, I'm not sure how you could retrieve it once it has been already set up.

unfortunately there is no way to retrieve the password if you don't have a record of it. you can just reset your router to its default factory state. depending on your router model, most routers have a reset button found on the back of the router its sort of like inside a pin hole try looking for the reset button.

The PIN number could be the passphrase or encryption key code that is in the router's wireless settings. Go to the wireless router settings for this info.

You do not need to retrieve the password if you cannot remember. Just reset your router and use (admin) for user name and password. To reset your router you can see a small hole in your router which is labeled reset. Use a pin and insert it to the hole and push.

You can find the pin number listed on the label on the bottom of the router.

I have had this problem. Go to the website and get the free phone number and ring them. They were able to help me (twice as I forgot after the first time).
