Re: Konica Minolta bizhub 161f remove fuser
Usually a fuser unit isn't a replaceable item by the end user. It requires a service technician to repair because they are wired to a circuit board and there are glass components in them that have to be handled carefully.

Power off the machine, ensure the sub power switch is on that is the one on the control panel, now hold down the utility/counter button and turn on main power switch, wait to see trouble reset on screen the touch get OK then power off. Wait 10 second power on. if code comes back replace the fuser unit do not reset again or the machine can catch on fire the code you are resetting is for the fuse the HOT Part, that could ruin a perfectly good day
C0500 is a warm-up error on those little machines. Try holding the stop button while switching on, that should reset the code. It sometimes happen if it's kinda cold, or when the power dips. If the code comes back, you'll have to replace the fuser unit.
Sorry to hear you have a C-14a3 code. In my experience, this code spells disaster for the 161f. The image reader has failed. The part can be replaced, but the cost would almost outweigh the cost of replacing the machine. I have personally had to deal with two 161f with the same code. Both times we changed the machine (because it was on contract).
