My TV is an LCD TV Samsung LW22N23N.
The problem is following: When the plug is inserted into the socket, the TV's power LED indicator lights up as normal, TV turns itself on automatically, but then the screen blinks once and goes off. It does not respond to anything else. When the plug is removed from the socket and reinserted, the same thing happens. Is it a problem with the power adaptor or not? If not, what could be the problem?

The pcb with the volume + & - and ch + & - is faulty. The easiest and cheapest way to repair this is to take the back off your TV and just disconnect the plug and socket on this pcb. The remote will work the TV as usual. Hope this helps
Hello, This may seem kinda silly but please check that the power cord is fully seated into the tv's power socket. Just remove the power cord from the TV, and re-insert it back in. Also verify that the other end is fully seated into the wall outlet or extension cord!
