A cell phone's vibration is caused by a small electric motor with an off balance spindle on it. If for some reason this motor isn't receiving a signal then the phone will not vibrate even though it thinks it is. It would be possible to replace this motor and replacement may be found on eBay or around the web. If you are 100% certain than you've set the phone up correctly then it is very likely that your phone's vibrate motor is faulty, or the wires leading to it are broken.

The way you explain shows that issue is most likely interconnection related. When you open the PCB of the phone there will be knobs connecting the components to PCB such as vibration motor, earphone, microphone etc. If you wish you can do it by yourself clean the knobs of the ******** motor and make sure touching point has no oxidation. You can take it to local repair store. since its just ******** connection will be low cost repair
Good Luck

    Il be here

    Thanks,

    Ekse

  • Ekse Jul 04, 2008

if the phone vibrates in the test, then you simply need to setup the phone so that it vibrates when a call comes, this is in the settings somewhere.

  • Ekse Jul 04, 2008

If the test works on your phone but it still doesn't vibrate I recommend you take it back to the shop for a replacement.

    have you seen my solution?
