The phone has to be taken apart.....but you should take it to a mobile service center and have the flexcable replaced.

Flex problem

Hi,black screen on phones are usually caused by the flex of the phone.

The flex of the phone is located inside the phone, it controls the functions of the screen an also the keypads of the phone.

The flex is a thread like object that is located inside the phone. To see the flex, you will need to disassemble the phone to get to the flex of the phone.

After replacing the phone flex, your done.

Also it might be the screen of the phone. But in other to know if it's the screen, you will need to test a new flex.

You can get a replacement flex from any of the phone repair stores around you.

Hope it helps.

My display screen has gone black.

Hi, Motorola Phones displaying blank screen is always caused by the flex of the phone. The flex of the phone controls the display of the and it makes the screen of the phone display.

The flex is a thread like object that is located inside the phone.Comes with the keypad functions too.

When you replace the flex of the phone, the display will be normal again.

Sometimes, the screen also might be the fault. The only way you can test if the screen is working is only when you have replaced the flex first.

Hope it helped.

I tried downloading an app and now its plain black screen

Hello,it's not the application that caused you having the plain black screen, what you are facing now is simply caused by a "FLEX" problem, and this could be fixed, all you need to do is just to visit a phone accessories store to purchase your phones FLEX in there, then you replace it with the faulty one.it's the FLEX that connects the screen and the keypad together.so the flex problem occurs due to frequent sliding of the phone,or consistent drop of the phone on the floor.this is the most frequent problem with slide and flip phone only.

wish you good luck,

thanks for using fixya,take care.

Ringer problem

Hi, problem can be solved... The flex of the phone make ringer to function. When you replace the flex of the phone it will start ringing out. The flex is located close the screen and allows the screen to display and also controls the ringer. When the flex is damaged it will affect both the screen and the ringer of the phone.

When you replace the flex of the phone, phone will work perfect again.
if you have any question, you can send me a comment.

My screen went black out all of a sudden, pls what can i do

Hello,

there is nothing wrong with your phone screen. The problem is from the flex that connects the screen to the phone board.

Its either the flex has worn out or it has loosed contact from inside and that's why thete is no display.

Therefore, check the flex.

Take care.
