Question about Sony PlayStation® 3 (60 GB) Console
Have you tried resetting the defaults?
Have the machine in standby mode (red light), then press and hold the power button 10-15 seconds after it turns on and let go after you hear a second beep. The screen will flash a few times then it will be reset to standard TV settings. If that doesn't work then it's very probable that the video chip has blown or come unsoldered. I hope this helps. Complete directions can be found at playstation.com under support. Good luck to you.
