Shark V1510 Belt is the same model - head to SharkVac.com and you should be able to find them. $7.95 for two plus about $5 shipping.

SharkVac.com is no longer listing parts for the V1510, but I found a two pack of belts at vacpartswarehouse.com for $8.95 plus about $5 shipping. Next time I purchase a hand vac, I think I will do some research here first!

Some units do not have a close off. Simply connect the hose to the inlet or outlet and use to such up dirt, or dust off components.

How to change a belt on a shark v15z vac. tks john t

John -

Your vacuum doesn't have a belt - only vacuums with rotating brushes use drive belts.

What problem are you having - why do you think you need to change the belt?

Please rate my solution if you find it helpful.

The belt broke on my my SHARK Model V15Z and Euro Pro hasn't responded to my request for a new belt w/ directions as how to effect repairs.

Well it's actually not so bad once you realize where they hid the screws. Gently pull outwards on either side of the housing that surrounds the brush and vacuum. There are no screws for this piece it simply snaps off and on. Once this piece is removed you'll see two phillips type screws on the side where the removable hose attaches. Remove the two screws and pull off the molded section they keep in place. The brush will now come off revealing the rotor that the belts slips over. The belt is placed over the rotor and the brush cylinder in a figure eight. Reassemble and your ready to go. Now if Shark will only help customers locate a replacement belt you may find this info useful.....
