Have you registered this laptop? if it is still under warranty you should get in touch with Toshiba. it sounds as if the motherboard has gone out. I just replaced one on a HP that had the same problem.

Connect USB to unit and connect to Computer. Turn on power.

How do you program a casablanca fan remote control to work for the fan?

Howdy,

Casablanca control systems are specific, for instance Inteli-Touch (4 button wall control with power fan light and reverse buttons) uses power line signals to a computer board inside the fan's motor housing and a remote control using RF will not work. However, you do not state what control you have, or what specific control you wish to attempt to use with the fan. Some will work some, will not.

Thanks and Reply so I can better help you!

I have Lifebook S6120 serial number YBFBO40197. The problem is that the on/off button.when press to turn on the computer the connection is faulty and the computer does not fire up. At the time i press the...

If the power light comes up as well as the fan but not the screen, it may be due to your lcd driver being installed improperly, or the hard drive may be faulty.
Or, simply your lcd backlight or your screen is broken.
There are many factors that might have caused this issue, but try:
Cleaning the memory card (RAM): First, take out the RAM memory card by unscrewing where the memory card is. (bottom of your laptop; research where it is first before you open it)
Then, clean it with a dry cloth, then put it back in. (You can read how to properly clean/put back in your memory into the memory slot through simply searching through Google)
MAKE SURE WHEN YOU DO ALL THIS, THE POWER AND BATTERY IS ALL TURNED OFF/TAKEN OUT!
Try turning on the laptop now. This method usually works.
If this does not work, turn off your laptop again and take out battery also. Then, press and hole the power button for 30 seconds, then turn your computeer back on.
Hope this helps! Leave Feedback!

Emachine T2682 boots then dies

Nope, if the fan on any of the equipment stops, then its a power problem. Hightly suspect the motherboard is at fault loading down the power supply and even possibly burning out the power supply. I've seen it happen to many times.

Tomtom 3rd edition

I think it has to do with hooking up your unit via the usb cable to the computer. I got one from Radio Shack and it worked fine for a day, drove with it and shut it on and off a couple of times. Then I hooked it up to my emachine computer, and all I got was a white screen. Took it back got another one, drove with it, turned it on and off a couple of times, worked fine. Then I hooked it up to my computer, and again the same white screen until I reset it. I noticed all these posts are in the last few days, so I would say it is a bad batch of units. I purchased one for my wife 3 weeks ago and no such problem.
