Some of my pictures are blurry using a cannon rebel 3. how can i fix this problem?

There are several possible causes for blurry pictures.
1) Camera motion. If everything is blurry, it's most likely because the camera moved while the picture was being taken. Make sure your shutter speed is fast enough if you're handholding the camera (longer lenses require faster shutter speed). Alternatively, put your camera on a stable surface, such as a tripod or a tabletop.
2) Subject motion. If the subject is blurry but the background is sharper, then the subject may have moved while the picture was being taken. Use a faster shutter speed. Raise the ISO if needed. There are limits, of course. If you're trying to photograph a fast-moving object in the dark, you probably won't be able to.
3) Improper focus. If the subject is blurry but something else in the picture is sharp, then the camera probably focused on the wrong object. Move the focus selector to the subject you want in focus. Alternatively, center the viewfinder on the subject, press the shutter button halfway to lock focus, then reframe and shoot.
Without any more specific information as to what and how your pictures are blurry, I'm afraid the above is all I can give you.

What is the difference in the optical and digital zoom?

Hi,

Find the difference below

Digital Zoom

1. Digital zoom is a part of digital cameras, and camcorders, which helps to crop the entire image, and then digitally enlarge the size of the viewfinder of the portion that is needed to zoom in on
2. Digital zoom crops the image down to a centred area with the same ratio as the original, and also interpolating the result back up to the pixel dimensions of the original. this method involves cropping, hence the resolution and quality is reduced
3. Digital zoom, crops a portion of the image and then enlarges it back to size. And due to this, image quality is reduced in comparison with the original one.
4. Using the digital zoom allows the user to get closer to the subject when the photographer wants to be discreet about taking pictures, like taking a picture of a person in a graduation ceremony.

Optical Zoom

1. While taking a picture using a Camera to want to get a close shot of the subject without moving physically closer, photographers use the optical zoom.
2. The optical zoom ratio of a digital camera measures how much the lens can actually zoom in to make subjects appear closer. Optical zoom, enlarges a picture while keeping the resolution and sharpness of the picture high.

3. There is no relation between optical zoom and the resolution of the photo, as optical zoom only enlarges the whole image or the subject to a certain range. So image quality only depends upon the mega pixel (MP) of the camera

4. Optical zoom is very useful, while taking a picture of a landscape, or to get a closer view of a subject, without reducing the quality of the entire image, like taking a picture of a Rainbow in the sky.

Ron

My Canon EOS Rebel T2i EF-S 18-55 IS Kit 18MP Digital SLR 4462B003 USA Model will not come on. What is the possible problem?

It's probably coming on but the button has been pushed to activate the viewfinder so all information gose there and the LCD screen remains black OR because this camera has an interesting feature just under the viewfinder that scenes the photographer looking into the viewfinder automatically shuts off the rear LCD screen. If this sensor is blacked then the LCD screen will not come on.

My Canon EOS 450D shows busy while trying to click on AF auto mode and it does not click at all.

There are several contributing factors to this problem and I'll try to list a few that may be the cause.
All Canon EOS camera auto focus modes us contrast to focus this means simply that no contrast there is no focus. There is a small green dot in the lower right corner of the viewfinder that will come on and stay on solid when auto focus as been achieved. By default the shutter will not operate "click" if auto focus has not been made.

Here are a few examples of where auto focus will ether search (focus back and forth) or fail completely.

A solid painted wall, glass between the camera and subject, mirror, chrome, any large body of water, clear sky. Another place you wouldn't expect is clear skin in your subjects face or body.

Cameras with multiple focus points and set to other then the middle will have a problem if the photographer is still attempting to use the center focus point.

Look for the green dot in the lower right corner of the viewfinder that's your focus confirmation.

Canon rebel eos When trying to take a picture the autofocus won't work up close

Close up and macro photography require special lenses chances are you are to close for the lens to see what you are attempting to focus on. Another thing if you are hand holding the camera the chances are extremely good you can't hold it steady enough for the camera to lock on to the subject.
When shooting macro the depth of field is extremely shallow to you need to stop down the lens to maybe F11 or even F22 so now you have a light problem. You didn't say how close the subject was to the front of the lens. So to get started on this close up photograph mount the camera to a tripod switch the lens to manual and slowly focus on your subject. There is a small green dot in the lower right corner of the viewfinder that will come on sold green when your subject is in focus. If it doesn't you are to close to the subject for the lens you are using.

My Canon EOS Rebel xs takes a focused photograph, but when you look through the viewfinder it is blurry. Even the light meter is blurry. Why would that occur?

Can you change the diopter setting on the viewfinder to accommodate your vision? It's usually a dial or slide switch at the eyepiece.
