Question about Furuno NavNet vx2 1920C GPS Receiver
My radar is upside dwon on the screen, I can't change change the soft key , North up, True Motion, head -up ( which it is on) but I am not ttraveling up on the screen, only down.
You have two things that orient the radar, on is called heading (or bearing) alignment. This is where you aim your radar so that a target comes up at 12 o'clock when dead ahead. Access this mode by pressing and holding menu duing power on, and go in to Installation Mode, radar setup, next page, align heading. I have posted a "tip" on this, search for VX2 radar alignment.
After this is done, North up is accomplished by having a magnetic input (fluxgate compass or autopilot). Calibration of this compass varies, but if it is accurate, then all should line up nicely.
