Question about HP Photosmart C5180 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I've replaced the black ink cartridge and tried cleaning the connections as well. I've done head cleanings and alignments. Still no luck. HP TechSupport will not help since printer is out of warranty. Is there anything I can do or is this hardware trash?
Try a hard restart, which simply means unplugging the power cord of the printer, and replugging it after one minute has passed. This technique reprograms the electronics to a certain extent.
You can also visit the HP website, which provides solutions to various printer problems. Anyone can access this information. Some solutions are specific to your model and some are applicable to other models. You might have to sift through a few pages of solutions, to get to the ones you want.
