I have Intel Pentium 2.8 ghz 512 rAM and have problem with 3D device something

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions EIDE,SATA

the leads from your motherboard to your hard drive make sure they have a secure dust free

connections

make sure all leads that are attached to your dvd\cd floppy drives have secure connections

a computer needs all power and data to travel through every working device to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

you might have a dirty graphics card if you remove your graphics card clean both card and socket restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard

Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it

or you might try these

http://ati-catalyst-drivers.en.softonic.com/ Optimise your ATI graphics card's performance

if this package is not right

http://download.cnet.com/2000-20_4.html
on the home page you should see a search tab just type in what you are looking for

IE: motherboard name 3d graphics driver you might have to try a few times to get it right

hope this helps

When i run project igi it tells me ihave no d3d drivers

Check the Following Things:

1.) Does your computer play 3D Accelerated games normally without a problem. (Example: World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Fable, Grim Fandango, Grand Theft Auto)

If so than your D3D drivers are installed and operational. If not then here is what you need to do:

Find out what kind of video card is in your machine. Usually this can be done by right clicking on My Computer (windows) and selecting properties. In the window that pops-up look for Device Manager.
In Device Manager there will be a small icon labeled Display with a plus sign to the left of it. Click this plus sign to see what device(s) are listed. Most people with gaming computers will have ATI or NVIDIA brand video cards.

Once you have identified what you have go to google or dogpile.com and search for drivers for that model and brand of card. Install these drivers and restart your computer. This should fix the problem. If the problem persists see option 2.

2.) PC Plays 3D Games Software still doesn't work:

In this case there may be a problem (conflict) within the Project IGI program. Try to locate a setup or installation file for this software and reinstall it. (Uninstalling it first will make things easier).

I just rebooted my computer but i have no sound?

When you bought the computer and the sound on board, came with it, so did a disk that contained the sound software and driver for the motherboard. You need to reinstall both using that motherboard disk.     If you did not receive the disk, then you need to contact them for it.  Your other ooption is to buy a PCI soundcard, like Soundblaster that wil come with everything you need.  http://www.ibuypower.com/

Upgrading Graphics accelerator

Not every computer is the same, but many times you can disable your integrated graphics by going into the BIOS setup and disabling the onboard graphics. This is not necessary, even if you plan to upgrade.

http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/opgx110/ens/ug/specs.htm#expansion_bus

when i read the system specs it says it only has PCI expansion slots. I regret to inform you your computer is very limited in its ability to expand, basically you will not be able to upgrade to render graphics for more 3d applications especially newer games. you need at least one AGP port or PCI Express. However if you absolutely want the best available for PCI you can purchase a RADEON 9000 PCI edition. It can handle most older 3d games or apps and it will work on your computer. All you have to do is plug it in to any PCI slot and install the software that come with the device, and voila.

For newer 3d apps and games you will have to purchase a new system.

Downloaded games are dragging

Check to make sure that you have the latest DirectX version for your version of windows and also check the system requirements for the game compared to your graphics card and Memory.

To download Direct X go to Microsofts Website. Some games require 3D accelaration. Make sure that this is active and avaible by going to Start>Run (on right hand side) and type in dxdiag. When the program opens it will tell you your version of Direct X and then click on the Display tab and run the tests that are avaiable there to make sure that you have no errors with your display. It will also tell you whether you have 3D accelleration or not.

I hope this helps

Problem playing a computer game I bought

what game is it? sometimes your graphics hardware can stop games from working if you haven't got the right hardware. or sometimes it can be as simple as not having the right version of direct x installed on your computer. Check the requirements for the game on the back of the disk case then check that you have all of the recommendations that it asks for e.g. graphics card, direct x, harddrive space, 3d accelaration etc..
