I have no sound on my cpu. The speaker icon has a "X"over it. what could be the problem?

Hello...your problem could be as a result of no sound driver installed on the system.i dont know what operating system you are currently running but here is a link to get the drivers.

I purchased d845grg but when i install sound driver it give error "NO SOUND DEVICE "please tell me which driver should i install

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also

you might have to get a portable usb sound card if you mean dont have a sound card installed

My speakers have stopped working.

maybe windows xp dosent support your speakers and it cant detect them. or you could try and find the drivers for your speakers on your speakers manufacturer website.
