Black monitor I just came to my computer and observed it was on but had a black screen. The blue button is on as well as a blue button above the power indicator. I have attempted to restart my computer several times but am having no luck getting a picture.

Same problem - unplug both computer and monitor - hold power button for monitor for 15-30 seconds...then power it back on and then power on the computer. Seems from other sites there is a power issue with the monitor - this worked for me.

Try put off Monitor uplug power cord and the VGA cord for 1min and reinsert and restart your PC.
