I just came to my computer and observed it was on but had a black screen. The blue button is on as well as a blue button above the power indicator. I have attempted to restart my computer several times but am having no luck getting a picture.

I have the same problem.

Power light coming on and sound effects when you plug it in but no lighting of the screen is usually caused by the power inverter board having gone bad. Once in a while it is a bad bulb.
I repair these 90% of the time
