Sorry I dont know by the model which washer you have. I would suggest starting washer let it fill with water and then turn it off. If you let it soak overnight I suggest you start by spinning out the load and then starting the wash process over.

I just had a plumber install new moen faucets in my bathroom sink. After he left, I discovered that there is a slow drip. These faucets are brand new! What could be wrong?

well it can only be 1 of 3 things, 1st can you tell if it is hot or cold water dripping?? 2nd is the handle loose can you wiggle them and 3rd how old is the faucet I know you said it is ''New" but it could be "old" stock from his shelf in which case the gaskets/O-rings could be dried out and needs to be replaced...
if loose then on top where the "c" or "H" is that cap comes off using a finger nail or small knife point pop off caps under caps there is a screw remove it but first turn off water under sink you will a bigger nut use a adjustable wrench to snug it more then try again if still leaking remove that big nut the is a washer on the bottom that will be leaking there are many sizes so you will have to buy an assortment with mixed sizes fond the two you need remove screw on bottom put new one in,,, put it all back together...
ps if you have vinger you can soak old washer but this only short term fix, replace washer

could be tranny if noisy. may be worn dawgs (gear cogs) found inside the agitator. Remove cap and they'll lift out Order by model number

Drum not turning. Can hear chattering. reset motor already. Recently repaired back of control panel for broken dial holders

Do machine attempt to fill with water. Washer will not do much until it reaches a preset water level. If no water check house shut off valves, or check in control panel where you just fixed the knobs and see if you accidentally unplugged wires to the plastic inlet valve which is the part the hoses screw on to.

My GE WHDRR418GWW was spinning and started making a loud unbalanced sound, stopped and now I cannot restart it.

Here is a common one. The coupler has worn and the agitator may also need to be replaced. Grab a belt and slide it under the agitator. Then pull the agitator out making sure it does not pop up and hit you in the face. Once the agitator is out check the coupler 310 and the base of the agitator. It's very likely they are worn and need replacing.

Some models don't have agitator, then, the problem in this case is going to be the tub bearing. Click HERE to order the part, this will not be an easy repair since you will need to take the top off and remove the inner and outer drum.

Hope helps.

The washer (#WBSR3140GWW) does not spin on the spin cycle and the clothes come out very wet. What could be wrong??

Hello,

The most probable trouble is the belt is streched and needs replacing. To replace belt remove front panel by placing a putty knife about two inches inward from the ends of front panel push the putty knife in and release clips for front panel.remove panel and belt will on bottom under the motor. On a lot of GE washers the oil in transmission leaks and soaks belt in oil so soon new belt will be oil soaked and needing replacment again if ya see a lot of oil in base belt will fix temporarly till its oil soaked, the fix then is to replace washer since trans. replacement is more than new washer

Inverter board is flashing six times locked rotor; motor is free, but won't run.

Greetings,

This washer has a defrctive motor. I have seen them flash all different times and each time..its been the motor..i just went on one that blinked four times and said the shifter coil was defective, but checking the coil was fine...of coarse, it could be something else, but in my experience with these..its usually been the motor...Bruce Denton

I have a GE washer model # WHDRR418GWW. It is about 19 months old. It stopped agitating and spinning. It will fill with water and the timer/knob will go thru the cycles. But when it reaches the washing...

You have what is called "agitating dogs" there are usually 4 of them at the bottom of the agitator. They have small grippers which lock onto the agitator and agitates. If the washer is ever overfilled or over time filled to heavy this will wear down the nylon teeth on the "dogs". The top of the agitator will spin off, you will see a bolt inside at the bottom, remove bolt and the agitator will pull out. Google "agitating dogs on washer. It will give you pictures for a better understanding. If the belt was broken the washer would not drain, because the belt turns the pump. These dogs are about $5 and honestly easy to install. Good Luck.
