As I know it has been off for the last 2 months. So I decided to get it out and charge it using my phone charger like I always do. It will stay charging for like 2 hrs but as soon as I pull the plug, it goes off and will not come on until it is plugged back up. I can not even turn it off while it is charging like I use to be able to do. The bad thing about it is, this is not my property, so can you help me. Do you think that I will have to buy another one.

That should not be too difficult to find out. Plug the phone in the charger and the charger to the wall socket. The phone should say Charging. Even if your particular phone does not say charging, leave the devices connected to the charger. After a few hours, unplug th phone and turn it on. If it does not stay on there is no charge. If it stays on, use your phone and see how long the charge lasts. If it lasts the same amount of time as it used to, then the charging occurs normally. If the charge does not hold, then there is incomplete charging or no charging at all.
i have an mp3 and bought a wall travel charger for it about two months ago. Before i would charge it for like two hours and it would last me for about an hour and half. Now it only lastes me 50m when i charged it this much what is the problem . Tell me thank you.
If you've used the player while hooked up to the charger this often kills the battery and you will need a new one.
Never use a phone or battery operated device through the charger. Always just let it charge!
Has it held a charge before?

I have found the solution
You can use Fly mobile V 60
It cost Rs,281/-only
One more thing You can use any Charger Which has 5V 200mA
With Mini USB connecter
But never use 5V 500mA Charger. It may damage your MP3
It is not safe for Transcend MP3/4Player
Second thing you can charge any Mp3 Player with Fly V 60
Mobile phone Charger.
Because Its specification are 6V 300mA.
I had the same problem, so I got fed up and threw it against the wall...... Just kidding. I have a Motorola phone that uses a mini-USB plug-in charger. So I connected it to the mp3 player and plugged it in, looking for smoke. And Wala! it started to charge. The mp3 player has to be on. When you see a battery icon and it simulating being filled up, then you know that it is charging. Once it stops filling up, it's done. Good luck!
Also, if you use the USB cable in you computer, make sure that the mp3 player is on. I had absolutely no luck on charging this way, but maybe you can.
Well, charging the battery alot may cause it to malfunction. So you have to charge your battery only when in is near zero (empty), and for no more than 8 hours depending on what device you use.
Now your battery is dead, so you got to replace it.
