I am very sorry - I posted an answer to the wrong person - I wondered why my post never showed up!
For YOUR problem, I want you to try removing the battery and the power. Then just plug in the power without the battery in.
It should come up as normal, and then shut it down. Replace the battery. Then restart.
That should help your situation.
