Question about Computers & Internet
I HAVE A 320GIG HARDDRIVE THAT USED TO HAVE VISTA ON IT INTILL I FORMATED IT AND ONLY GET 128GIG INSTEAD OF THE FULL AMOUNT, I HAVE PARTION MAGIC 8.0 AND IT COMES UP WITH ERROR MESSAGE #4 Bad argument/parameter. when try to create a partition on the drive. it says on the drive part "bad" and in a yellow colour as it means other format. how do i fix this all so i can have my harddrive running like it should it is also a sata harddrive.
ps. is working when i bring it up on my computer and i can access it but i cant put all the memory together. thanks
I would use a "secure wipe" - there are free downloads for ths on the internet - not comfortable recommending one over the other as I am just a nutral tech.
Using a secure wipe will also delete any and all partitions on the drive, then when you are ready, format the whole drive in NTFS format. Then it will be ready to use in its full gigabits.
