WHIRLPOOL DRYER WHAT KINDS OF DRYER BELTS FIT AN OLDER MODEL WHIRLPOOL DRYER?

Provide me with a model number and I can probably find out for you. Most dryer belts are standard among certain brand names. Even though the dryer case looks different on the outside with newer models, the internal components (i.e., drive motor, idler pulley, heating circuits) are still the same.

Need to know the configuration for installing a new belt on a Whirlpool AWA9708 7kg dryer

your model number doesn't show up but all whirlpool belts go on the same way,put the belt under the idler pulley and then onto the motor pulley, you have to push the pulley back towards the motor and then loop the belt onto the motor pulley and you want the ribs to be down touching the drum

hope this helps and next time send the full model number off of the machine, just open the door to the dryer and look around the opening where you put the clothes in you'll see a tag with the full model number

Whirlpool front loader dryer does not heat up at all

Sounds like the heating element has gone. Ring around and find out the cost to fix. If the machine is a stand alone dryer and it is an older model it may be just as cost effective to buy a new one.??

Please, can you tell me how to tighten the belt on an Inglis dryer model J073500

Sorry for the troubles but you cant tighten the belts on those or any dryer for that matter. Here is the problem your belt is worn out and that's why it is loose and if you have replaced it and its loose you are installing the belt incorrectly around the idler pulley or have the wrong belt or your idler pulley is worn out. I hope this helps solve the issue your having and for instructions on installing the belt go to youtube and type in whirlpool dryer drum belt installation they will show you the correct way to do it and whirlpool builds your model dryer.

Whirlpool Dryer (model lg5791xmw1) blows cold air. I switched out the igniter, dryer heated up and we put a load of laundry in. Checked in a half hour and dryer was running cold again. Thermal fuse?

no, cause thats a one shot deal, check your hi-limiy switch on the element case, they get weak from heat and can cause all kinds of (Under-Overheat) problems

Kenmore dryer

The belt you will need for that unit is part # 341241. These belts will fit almost all Whirlpool and Kenmore models except for the DOTT (Dryer Of Tomorrow, Today) dryers. A DOTT dryer is a Kenmore model only, and has a front kick plate and the lint filter in the door.
