I think it is the same limit as for the PB-40, which is 2 GB. However, I found a trick you can use: acquire an SD-to-CompactFlash card adapter, slide your >2GB SDHC card into the adapter, connect the adapter to the PB-X0 and make sure the device is fully charged AND have it plugged into its AC adapter/charger and download away! Be patient, since the device is slow (nearly an hour for 16 GB).

I believe it is 4GB. Another user had a similar question in which he was not able to use an 8GB card but was able to use a 2GB and 4GB one. IF in doubt, the manufacturer will be able to give you this information.

Toshiba type "A" sd card

I beleive the memory that it can read is only limited by the software you are running such as windows XP sp1 and 2 can recognize upto 2gb SD cards but keep in mind that SD cards only go to 2gb anything bigger than that are SDHC and are the same size but designed differently so the reader must be able to read SDHC format. Note if your hardware is capable of reading SDHC cards and your software limits your ability to use anything bigger than 2gb you can still insert and use upto 2gb of space on an SDHC card that is, say 16gb so that is how you can tell if it is hardware or software that limits the use of an SDHC card.

What is the largest capacity SD card that can be used with this camera? I own one, but just can't remember the highest capacity. Thanks

Hi.

The largest capacity SD card the camera can support is 1GB. It also supports MMC (multimediacard) from 16MB upt 1GB but its recommended that you use an SD card as they read and write faster than MMC.

What is the largest SD card I can use? Is there a difference in SD and SDHC?

SD cards max out at 2GB and so the largest SD card you can use with this or any other camera is 2GB.
SDHC is a later extension to increase card capacity. It is backward compatible in that SDHC devices can also use SD cards, but not forward compatible in that SD devices cannot use SDHC cards.

What is the largest mb sd card the kodak dcs pro 14n will read ??

Hello!
Seems the DCS PRO/n do not handel SD cards with HC capabilitys. So the largest SD cars that there is i 4GB. Problems is to find such a card.
In reallity 2GB is possible.
I recomend You to obtain a CF card instead. I use a 16GB CF and it work like a charm.

I suppose the DCS 14/n work the same way.

Just bought 4GB SD card that hx4700 does not recognise - help pse

Your slot in the iPAQ is a SD slot, not a SDHC slot - therefore it will not read the card. Your PC card is probably a dual reader. The SD cards look the same but are different. Have a read of this...

Can not detect sd card

Make sure your card is NOT an SDHC. the HX470x only reads standard SD cards. The largest that I have found is 4GB SD (not SDHC)
