Why does my series 3 dock say I need to add paper when it is full?

This is because settings on your printer is set to a specific paper quality and size but you are loading the wrong type of paper in the tray. Match the settings with the type of paper you have and your problem is solved!

Does that help?

Printer say's "please load paper in auto

This could be a printer driver problem. Try to uninstall your existing Lexmark X4270 printer driver from your computer. On your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark 4200 Series > Tools > Uninstall. After the process, reboot pc when prompted.
Check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system. Go to Start menu > right-click on Computer > Properties. Take note of the System Type.
Use the links below to re-install the printer driver on your computer: - Lexmark X4270 Driver for Microsoft Windows 7 for 32-bit - Lexmark X4270 Driver for Microsoft Windows 7 x64-bit

This is often caused by software asking for paper that is not loaded in the printer. You can use the paper path test function in the diagnostics menu to ensure that tray 2 is working properly. Also check your driver settings to make sure that the paper size shown in the driver matches what is actually loaded. You need to also check and make sure that the paper type for tray 2 is set for plain paper, otherwise the printer will only print to that tray if you ask for the paper type that is set.

There will be something in there, whether it is toner/ink over a sensor, a paperclip/staple, or a tiny scrap of paper.
The trick with this one is patience, methodically strip it down as far as you can, checking as you go for stuck material, and once you have gone as far as you can put it back together nice and slowly, looking for broken connections and loose bits, then try it again.

If there is nothing in there then the printer has something broken and needs looking at by a technician, in this case you should turn to your warrenty.

HP photosmart D7300 series, will not read SD memory card, keeps saying memory card error.

Card format may be incompatible with reader or card may be too large for reader to manage. Try another card in the reader to see if it will read that one. If so you know the card is the problem not the reader.

Printer will not feed/accept paper.

Front LCD reads error "Check Paper & Retry" When paper is inserted and loaded correctly and machine is reclosed the printer then initializes then reverses the feed of the paper and is ejected and error continues to reappear.

The drivers on the HP CD are probably not compatible with Vista.

I would suggest visiting the Hewlett-Packard website, navigating to their Support section, and downloading the new drivers for Vista.
