Question about Olympia Mastertype 3 Typewriter

Right Margin How do I re ser the Right Margin? I can only space 1 space and it stops.

    I did that and all it won't move it just continues to "pi" at me? I can not get it to go anyfurther an it continues to shrink in space.

I don't know what I did but I held down the MAR REL button and physcally moved the cursor by hand back and forth. Eventurally it cleared the margins :)

Space until it stops, press & release the mar. rel. key, space to where you want the mar. press the rt. mar. key.

hit the space bar until it stops at the right margin, hit "mar rel" hit the spacebar again until the carrier is where you want the r. h. margin to be set and then hit the button on the right of the keyboard that says "right margin."

Brother ml 500 memory typriter how do i move margin to right


Use your space bar to move carrier to desired location, hold down Alt key button on bottom left (next to space bar) and press the number 5 numeric key on top row. That should set your right margin.

move your carriage to right margin by using "tab" or "space bar". then press "margin release" and using "space bar" locate carriage where you want right margin to be, then press "right margin".

R margin is not in the right place


Not positive about but many electronics you must press and release the mar rel key for it to function.

I can't get rid of a tab/margin?? and it won't let me type or space past it.


Go to the stopping position left of right press but don't hold margin release key the space or backspace to the desired location and press the r. or l. margin key.

Right Margin: I need to move the right margin.


Space bar to where the current right margin is. Press "margin release" key once. Space bar to where you want right margin to be. Press "margin right" once. This should work.

Just space to the right margin. Press the margin release key once. Space to the desired new spot for the right margin and then press the right margin key once.

Margin release


Turn the typewriter on press the return key. If you want the margin to the left of were it is set press the MAR. key ( margin relace) press the back space key to the desired spot. press the L margin key. Your left hand margin is now set. Space to the right to where you need your Right hand margin to bo. If stops before you want it to press the MAR. key press the space bar till the drsierd place press the R MAR key.

Margins


Most electronic typewriters work the same way to change margin settings. You use the space bar to move to the desired location then press the right margin key. You should hear a beep. If you need to set it farther to the right of the current position, then use the space bar to move the carrier to the current position, once it stops moving then press margin release then space to the new position then press right margin key.

Margin locked


check that there is nothing dropped into the typewriter that may be blocking the carrier try turning the machine off and moving the carrier by hand to the right side,if it moves ok then turn it back on space the place it stops , touch the MR (margin release button) then try spacing further to the right nad reset the right margin.
