How to download an audio device to my computer??theres no sound on my computer...its an pentium 4 pc....

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager sound video and game controllers could be a yellow question or exclamation mark ! ? or red x right click to re-install drivers

you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have made the correct adjustments there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can make adjustments there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar

then download audio driver from here :-

I think you need to install 'RealTek Driver' for your operating system. Download that from internet for your operating system.

In most cases audio device problems are related to device drivers. Try (re)installing the right audio driver first.

You can try this if you want:

1. Download this Small Software called Everest from here http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Everest-Home-Edition-Download-16369.html
2. Once downloaded install and run on the PC you want audio driver for.
3. Look for the Audio Device make and model from the list.
4. once you know what make is your audio device you can easily find it on google.

All I can think of is this method...because finding audio driver with the help of motherboard model no.is time consuming and I suppose Intel isn't keeping records of some of the motherboards.
