Connect you player to your computer and use the recovery tool provided by creative labs.

Recovery tool: download here

You'll have to reflash te firmware with this tool.

When the firmware is lost on a zen or any other creative labs mp3 player, the mp3 player boots into recovery mode.

Note when doing this, all data on the mp3 player can get lost.

Answer The power may be depleted fully or the Connect might be hung during boot. Charge the Connect for at least 20 minutes using the AC charger. If the Connect will not turn on after 20 minutes charging with the AC charger, you can then try using the Connect Recovery Tool.

The recovery tool will reformat and reload the latest firmware to the Connect. The tool and instructions are located here.

Note: Ensure the Connect is turned off by holding the power button 8-10 seconds before initiating the recovery sequence.

Explanation:
The e200 can operated under two different modes, MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) mode and MSC (Mass Storage Class) mode.

To see the MicroSD card as a Removable Disk, the e200 must be in MSC mode. The following screen shots show how the "My Computer" screen will look when the device is plugged in under each mode.

My creative mp3 player is stuck in recovery mode also the scroll button is broke how can i get the files off the player. thanks in advance

If it's in recovery mode, to the best of my knowledge you have already lost the files on it. The next thing to do would be to format it and reinstall the firmware.
