I accidentally flattened battery and do not have radio code

You need to contact the manufacturer and give them your serial and/or model number, either by phone or email or an audio parts store. then they will give you the code. make sure you write it down

How to unlock car radio for volvo v70

In the owners maunel you should have a card with the radio code on it.

The radio will only display EEE or OFF when the wrong code has been entered and the radio is locked depending on model - this is due to the battery being disconnected and the incorrect radio code being entered 3 times. You will neet to reset the radio. To do this the radio has to be on for either 2 or 4 hours - see the manual for your model. If you got the code from a card from Volvo, and it didn't work, then the radio has been changed or it has been reset by the dealer and your current code is invalid. You will have to pull the radio and find the serial & model number, and get Volvo to look up the code for that radio or the dealer may be able to lookup the radio code via vin# from Volvo. The dealer can reset the radio and enter a new code. When the radio is "ready" to accept an unlock code the display will say "codE". You will need this code if your battery is ever disconnected.

I assume it's a factory stereo?I have done a lot of research online about these code problems since there are so many.My conclusion is that your best bet is to contact a Ford dealer and they will help you at no cost. They have the best knowledge and training about stereos for their cars.If it is not a factory deck such as Pioneer,Sony etc.,let me know.Good luck! Reset Car Radio for Opel Corsa Njoy

Try this..Turn your radio off, take the fuse out (for the radio) for one minute. Replace it and turn the switch on. Turn the radio on and enter the code. If this dosnt work you may have the wrong code. If you enter the wrong code 3 times it may lock and you will have to wait an hour before entering again.

How to enter security code & where to get it.

If your radio is factory, try calling the dealer where the car was bought. If you dont know then call the manufacturer. Normaly if your radio is asking for a code none of the buttons will respond untill you enter the code. The number buttons work but with no sound. If you enter the code incorrect 3 times it will lock you out, and you will either have to wait an hour to retry or you can try removing the radio fuse for a minute then put it back in and try again.
