If you type in your model number on the internet there is a web site that comes up specifically for your model. they are not difficult to do, i hve done my one and I fed all the wires through the leg of the fire surrond.

If you do not have a fire surround the cables can be burried in the wall

The power cord for my Hyundai E320 flat screen tv was lost. I bought a generic brand cord, but the TV will no longer power up. Any clues?

Start by confirming the circuit is hot at the wall. Plug in a lamp or something.
Try your generic cord with another device to eliminate it as a variable.
What sort of cord is it?

I think what has happened is that your power supply malfunctioned and what has happened is that a capacitor has blown up. I would suggest that you do a complete search of the power supply to determine the location of the blown capacitor, I would advise getting a schematic to aid you in this. If you don't have experience in electronics I would also advise taking the set to the shop or calling a repairman to take care of this issue.
