You do not have to turn anything on. Use Google maps (download from www.m.google.com/maps) or any other maps that you like and set it up to use built-in GPS device. When you start using these maps, they will on their own stat the GPS and start using it. You will get an indication by a dish being displayed on the screen. This can be used by the mobile alone, you cant use it on your computer like other bluetooth GPS'.
Hi, first of all, you can try to reset your device using your stylus, and this should solve your problem. To reset your device: The reset hole itself is visible once you remove the stylus. It is in the corner where the tip of the stylus would be - and is in red so you cant miss it. Hope this helps.
Sometimes the SIM card will cause this problem. The first thing I'd do is ask T-mobile if they can diagnose this issue down to your SIM card and have it replaced. If that's what it is anyway.
How often do you turn it off? ( you should turn it off regularly, at night when it's charging or whenever ) Do you have a lot of stored info that you do not use? It could be corrupted, try erasing some things you don't use anymore. Just a couple things to try.
