I recently signed up for xm radio. It's a satellite radio built into my 2006 vw passat. I only get channels 1 and 247. They have resent a radio signal about 7 times and I do everything they say and its still not working. Because I get the preview channel I have a hard time believing it's the cars problem because I do get reception. Any idea what the problem can be?

I am actually out on business but was told by multiple people that especially with VW, the radio ID that shows up on your actual radio is different from the REAL radio ID. I know it is imprinted on the system itself (housed under the front passenger seat). I'm told if you take the cover off the radio under the seat and activate that radio ID it should work. Try it and let me know if you have any luck!
