I have an S! Pro Finepix, which I got in A condition. I recently took it out on a rainy day, it never got wet, but after about 10 frames, it started to shoot erratically. I shut it down and bagged it away, but the problem persists. The rear displays don't work at all after coming and going intermittently. It did work when plugged up to the power supply, but now that doesn't do anything either. It's like there was a short in the rear part powered by the AA's and now only an error message and no rear lights when turned on.

The Fuji S1 Pro is not a sealed camera, it's full electronic and vulnerable to moister. Hot and humid conditions will cause these cameras to fog and not just this camera either Nikon's and Canon will do the same so lets not point a finger at any one brand. Dampness is bad news for any camera that is not sealed and even sealed the camera can be moisture damaged through the lens. By hooking up the power supply you may have shorted out the damp circuity. That's already done and we can't back up so I'm suggesting that you place it on a warm register ( I don't know what climate you are in) or in a window with sun light heat on it OR and you got to be careful with this. I've placed my Nikon EM on a food warming tray to dry it out after a dunking it took, the camera wasn't submerged but got damp in the camera bag. I just hope you haven't scorched the electronics that's a nice little camera. Sorry for the bad news.

P0560 on rainy days

f570b06a-74b9-4fc6-8220-64a4489a3bfb.jpgThe battery supplies electricity to the ECM even when the ignition switch is OFF. This electricity allows the ECM store data such as DTC history, freeze frame data, fuel trim values, and other data. If the battery voltage falls below a minimum level, the ECM will conclude that there is a fault in the power supply circuit. At the next engine start, the ECM will turn on the MIL and a DTC will be set. 55e61f40-0a9c-4e5b-af78-52871cb6da9f.jpg 006871ee-be76-4044-96cf-accc2f40d19a.jpg 02652732-0889-4139-9d3e-0e4108b855e8.jpg

My 1998 gmc jimmy won't start every time it 's out in rainy conditions

Clean and retighten the connections at battery and starter. Make sure the battery ground is good.
Sounds like a connection losing contact when it's wet.

On wet, rainy or foggy days, the motor does not start even though the starter turns it over normally, especially if the engine has not been cranked for a few days.

Check dist cap, rotor, plug wires and coil wires for arching under damp conditions. They are kind of a bear to get at, so use high quality(i use original equipment) parts, so you don't have to do it again soon.

The pump has been louder for a couple of weeks and after I stopped it to clean the spa filter, it won't start. Sounds likes it's seized

I had that happen when the spa was off for 10 days. I took the pump and wet end out, and managed to turn the shaft to free it. It has rusted up in place.
6 months later it started the loud noise and started getting worse - the motor bearing at the wet end was seizing up. I replaced motor and wet end just in time.

Engine malfunction on rainy days

find a dark place to work, with the lights out start the engine and spray it down with water, chek for arcing, the turn engine off spray it down again then start it and check again, my guess is a spark leak but engine heat evaporates it when running

Damp is getting into your electrics. Spray all wires and disributor with WD40 after wet days or nights before trying to start it. That should cure it
