You migh have to copy this microsoft office pro 2007 to a usb drive and try to install it from there presuming that you have a usb port and a data drive with enough space to use
place the micro office into a cd drive open windows explorer click on my computer you will see the drive containg the disk right click select properties you will see the amount of mbs(megabites) you will need insert the usb data drive also in windows explorer
from there you select the cd right click select copy navigate back to the data drive right click select paste

hope this helps

Sure that it's already running Microsoft? Most run a version of Linux as don't have the capacity to run the full windows programs......

I want to install my 2007 word on my netbook (no cd-space) but with usb-stick its only a 3kb link, can i download a testversion and then use my product-key?

The product-key for MS Office (Student) will only work for a student edition of the software, and may not work for a student trial.
For an easy work around you can use "Daemon Tools" which is free software. With this program you can insert your MS Office Disk into another computer (with a CD drive) and essentially burn the disk to a file on your USB drive, and install it from the USB. 1: Download and install Daemon Tools. (Again it's free, do not pay for it) 2: Insert MS Office Student CD into CD ROM drive. 3: Open Daemon Tools. 4: Select "Burn Image From CD". 5: Select destination: USB Thumb Drive. 6: Insert USB drive into Netbook. 7: Open USB Drive. 8: Open Image file; Install Office as usual.
Daemon Tools is free and rather simple to use.

I am having a ms office professional enterprise edition 2003 CD.How can i read the CD KEY from it (it was not stickered on the cd)

The sticker won't be on the CD/DVD. It will be on the plastic case it came in.
Or,alternatively, it will be on a green and white card accompanying the program

I have a copy microsoft office home & student with the product key. I want to install it on my new netbook pc, but it has no cd drive!! Can i down load it and use the product key that I have?

Hi,

Could you possibly copy the CD to an USB drive (you would probably need one that would hold over 500 GB)? They are pretty cheap now. Then you could plug the USB into the computer and install from there. They also do sell USB CD rom drives. Please let me know if you would like further suggestions.

Thanks

Office Home and Student 2007 product key

The software loaded on your laptop was most likely a 60 or 90 day trial from your manufacturer requiring you to purchase a full copy

I have the Microsoft office home and student 2007 cd but can not get it to load on my computer

If the program does not automatically start from your cd drive, open windows explorer and find the CD drive. You might see an auto-start application file which you can try. If that doesn't work check the other files and files with the folders that show up on the CD for an installation/application file.

I just purchased Microsoft Home and Student 2007 and cannot install it beacause my CD Drive does not work. Can I install with product key?

Dear sir,

According to your problem solution is Copy content of the MS-OFFICE 2007 CD to a Pendrive(Thumb Drive) from other computer having working CD ROM.Then connect thumb drive to your computer install MS-OFFICE through Setup file present in the thumb drive,if it asks product key give the product key printed on MS OFFICE 2007 CD envelope. It solves your problem.

Good luck

Installing Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 on a netbook

If you have a 1GB or better USB flash drive and a friend with a desktop computer, you can copy the program from the disk to the USB flash drive and use that to install the program. USB flash drives are inexpensive now if you have to buy one and come in very handy in the future. USB flash drives are commonly called thumb drives.

MS office home and student 2007 activation problem

Just contact Microsoft Customer support and you should be able to get another product key. It would be the same if you had to reformat your HDD multiple times and reload the software over and over. Make sure you have your old key handy as proof of your purchase. I had to contact them after reloading my software multiple times from testing out problems. I had my old key as proof and I got a new key I was able to use to load my current software with. No new purchase or money needed.
