    Hi,

Is everything working or is there something that is definately faulty?

I've requested clarification of error codes from Beko. Just awaiting their reply now.

I will post again when they reply, and hopefully give you directions to a fix.

    Thanks for using Fixya!

I had the same error message and the ice cube dispenser stopped working. On examining the workings, I found that the wire that should have been connected to the ice cube tray had sheared somehow (???) - a simple splice with lots of insulation tape has apparently fixed the problem.

Hi,
E8 is an Ice sensor failure (according to Beko)

From the listings, I think this is it. -

Clicky here

Beco wanted to send an engineer out with one to fit it. I'll let you guess the quote.
- It was more than £2.50 though.

Thanks for using Fixya! If this works for you, Please rate as fixya for others to follow. Thanks.

I inherited a Beko AP930 and the freezer unable to reach -18 C. I have observed the temperature using separate digital thermometer, the minimum temperature the freezer can reach is -11 C, then it will...

If you never hear the unit shut off while it is at -18* then thats as cold as it will go. If you see the freezer drop to -18* and turns off then you may be able to get it colder by turning the thermostat clockwise. -18* is cold enough for most things ;)

Advertised on the TV Today that there is a fault on about 20 Beco Fridge Freezer Modles, made between 2002 - 2007, We have a Fridge Freezer Model CDA 563 F, is this one of the Modles concerned

According to the London METRO magazine and several other sources I have checked( http://www.metro.co.uk/news/868330-beko-fridge-freezers-fire-risk-warning-issued-to-homeowners-amid-recall ) The MODEL numbers (not serial numbers) affected by the recall are as follows:
CDA543FX
CA5411FFS
CDA752FS
CDA645FW
CA5411FFW
CDA752FW
CDA647FS

CSB4606FFS
CDA751FS
CDA543FS
CSB4606FFSD
CDA751FX
CDA543FW

From what I can ascertain, the fridges affected were manufactured between January 2000 and October 2006
If you go to the BEKO website, there is a link to check your serial number:
https://refsafety.beko.co.uk/
But I have to say, matching serial number or not, if I had an affected model, I would be checking with BEKO anyway!!

Recently purchased a Beko fridge/freezer model GNE V220. Is this model problematic re fire hazard with defrost action?

If you just bought the unit, probably not as the fault is associated with units manufactured between 2000 and 2006. However, for the sake of completeness (and I'm posting this response on every BEKO defrost question in full rather than pointing people to my previous responses just in case!)

Beko AP930 with Error code E0 in LHS of display .... what does this mean ? .... nothing in manual

Error codes are printed on underside of plastic cover on top of fridge. Warning electrical components inside! Error code E0 is the FREEZER door not being recognised as closed, switches are normally ok may be problem with printed circuit board. Freezer will work as normal but engineer should be called.

I own a Beko AP930 side by side frost free fridge freezer.Yesterday an error code appeared on it ,the code is E8.Could you please tell what this means.Thanks.

Just had this fault fixed on my 930. It is the ice sensor just under the ice cube tray - mine had a broken wire (from rotating several times a day for over a year!)
Fiddley but easy fix yourself with a "leggo" block connector to re join the wire if that is the fault, or ring Beko on 01923 654659 (very helpful company to deal with) for a part.
Part number 4344740185.
The other suggestion about the water filter I respectfully believe is wrong!

Beko fridge freezer not working... not cooling

yes it can b fixed is the fridge running ? if it is it will need re gasing which is a common fault with beko and you should not pay more than £40 for the re gas if it is not running it will b either your thermastat which again you should nt pay more than £48 4 or the compressor which will b aprox £120 supply and fit none of the above should b done by a novice good luck
