- I noticed what looked like very fine scratches on the face of my ipod. I've always had a cover to protect it. When the sun hit the screen I looked just like scratches. or maybe very fine lint on it. When I took the cover off it was all cracked. A whole bunch of circular cracks. I took it in for repair and they Manager said she never seen this before. I never dropped it. The screen is not bleeding and it still works fine. - gracie may
