Broken LCD Screen

Are the stripes like pixely (sharp stripes) or blurry (from background)?

You might have damaged the edge of the screen where the connections are and broke connections. These types of problems are impossible to fix. You need replacement panel witch can cost a lot. Cheaper is to buy new model. You can re-sell the screen motherboard, PSU as those are sometimes valued replacement parts for screens that have working panel but broken circuits.

Another tip for you is to find a exact same screen with broken circuits and replace those. I have found myself broken screens just for cents.

This is not going to be what you want to hear - BUT - usually the cost of a new LCD screen is the same as a new phone.
The only time it's worth replacing the screen is on a SLIDING screen like the Sony Ericsson , they had so many broken screens their telephone message included "press 4" for a broken screen. These are done under warranty which is normally 90 days.
I suggest having a look on EBAY for a second hand "unlocked' phone , because that cost will be close to what a replacement screen costs. - Ray

Sorry this tv is not worth a whole tv anymore.The tvs LCD screen panels are limited in productions by the tvs corporations.By replacing the tv LCD screen panel,will cost the same as a new tv.The tv LCD screen panel is 90% important to the tv.If it damages or broken than the tv only can be worth as a salvages tv for it electoronic boards for parts,that it.

LCD Screen replacement would cost you approx 70~80% of new tv price. New tv is better option.

Sorry,not repairable,because the LCD,PLasma,and DLP screen are limited produced.Replacing the tv pannel screen will cost the same as a new tv.Might even cost more after the labors.The tvs screen is about 90% of the tv,that why when is broken or damage,now it only use for it electronics boards parts,or sell for it electronics boards parts that it.

Broken Screen on Plasma TV A broken TV screen can not be fixed. A replacement sceen can cost as much as a new tv since the new set prices keep falling. You can sell the unit for parts. (ebay?)

LCD is inside the front glass that has logo of htc

the upper glass is called touch panel or digitizer it is working as u say but lcd is broken u can see visible cracks on it and it may partially display or not at all then ur lcd is broken by pressure or impact u need to get it replaced around like 100-150 dollars depends on the model and size of the lcd screen
