I went and bought a 1GB memory card online you need a micro sd chip, which cost me 8.00 online. That is the best way to do it that way you have memory to store your files. without the memory card you won't be able to store much. If you chose not to get the memory card you'll have to get the motorola phone tools software.

After that, connect your Mobile phone to the computer either using the USB Data cable or using the Bluetooth, and Run the PC Suite software.

Once connected, then choose, Transfer files --> This allows you to browse multimedia files saved in the Phone in the windows browser and to download files or to upload PC files to the Phone.

hi,

This a bit tricky, firstly to make life easier, you need to have installed the LG PC Suite that comes wif the phone, u need the disc.
Then, go to settings page on the phone, select "Connectivity", then USB connection, select pc suite,
Now connect you phone to the labtop, open the Lg suite program on the labtop, cant rem exacly but if u go through the different headings one of the options should say "connect", the rest you can prob figure out yourself, any probs u can email me on ssandh10@caledonian.ac.uk :)

My sony ericsson w550i isn't getting connected to my pc

When you insert your usb cable to your phone, is it give you phone and file transfer mode. If yes then reinstall pc suite. If no then your usb cable is defective or usb port to computer is properly connected.

Please if you have more any question then reply to this solution if your problem is solved then mark as answer.

Thanks

PC won't detect sansa e280 please help me

I had the same prob with my e280 yesterday and i bought it 4 days ago. I'm using a vista o.s. and i found a way to transfer files this morning. if you are using a vista os you should first set your sansa to MTP mode so that your windows media player can detect your e280 then you can start synching. If you are using XP o.s. there shouldn't be any prob with that but you have to switch to MSC mode. you can find these settings on the setting menu of your e280 then USB mode.you can also open the E280 player if you see it on "my computer" there you can transfer the files.don't use your wmp player when you are doing this on vista cuz the wmp player will also synch at the same time and it will synch the same file.
