Question about Insignia 37" LCD Flat-Panel HDTV
This may be a repeat question as I just signed up, but here goes... My dvd player works on my old tv and when I transferred cords to the flat panel tv, I get video but no sound. Am I missing something I should have purchased?
If you are trying to use the S video you wont get sound . try using a HDMI or the composit cables. If you don't have a HDMI and have to buy one ** don't buy the expensive one as the TV don't know the difference no matter what the sales man tells you** the cheap ones work just as well.. if your DVD don't have HDMI connection us the composit RCA cables. Make sure you are connected to the audio IN not the output on the back of the TV.. use the video 1 inputs on the set they are color coded to match the cables.
this should get things working for you
