What does E6 mean on a baumatic bwm70

E6 on the bwm70 means that there is a water sensor level error. You can try resetting the error code to see if it comes back on by pressing and holding the the power on, start/stop button, or unplug the washer, wait 30 seconds and try again. If you still get the E6 code, your washer will need to be serviced

Doesn't drain in rinse mode

Hi just read your posting. Now when it stalls in the rinse cycle does it start to beep and light up a couple of lights to indicate a fault code? Or do you have the LCD display model that shows the error code.If your machine shows some light on the same line of lights, there are 8 in a row , which ones are lit? Is it the 2nd and 4th or 1st and 6th--etc .Also if you have the LCD display model what is the error code? Please reply for further help.Hope this helped.

I had the same problem. I ended up paying $300 ($100 part $200 labour) for an authorized technician to replace the control board and that fixed the problem.

Samsung 6kg front loader (SEW-DW605WB) showing Error code E6

Hiya,
E6 is listed by Samsung as :- Water temperature rising/falling too quickly. Check thermistor.

The thermistor is the temperature sensor
, normally a probe located in the heater.
Unplug the appliance, take the rear panel off and the heater is at the bottom rear of the tub. Check the wiring to it and check the heater for continuity.

Apart from these checks you're left with replacing parts on a "fit and see what happens" basis. I'd try the heater and thermistor first.

Hope this helps.
Thanks

error code 1 is usually not heating it will progress through rinse as heat is not called for, when moves to heat stage will stop at that point inexpensive part to replace.
