Question about Maytag MSD2756G Side by Side Refrigerator
My fridge runs all the time, freezer compartment is working fine, however the refrigerator compartment is not cooling. I called a service tech out to take a look at the problem and you guest it the refrigerator was working when he came, it started to cool correctly. He started to talk about the compuiter control moduel being out of order, not realy sure what he was talking about, but he said that there was nothing he can do for now. I pointed out to him that i notice that while the compressor is running the condenser fan was not, could this cause the problem?
I have the same issue currently (and in the past). I originally had a Maytag repairman fix the first time - the defrost console was not working (part 61005988). He replaced part and manually defrosted coils in freezer. Part seems to last only a few years.

Have simialar problem, refrigerator section starts getting warm and then when I unplug it a whole lot of water comes out from underneath all over the floor, I let it sit for a day and then plug it back in and it works fine for about another month then the same thing all over again, it is model MSD 2758 DR
the ice maker quit after the first year and I didn't bother to get it fixed was told it wasn't in warranty :-( Has anyone had the same problem as this? I am ready to just get another unit and have this hauled away, it has the temperature controlled drawers, was very expensive at the time of purchase and only had it maybe 8 years.

I am having same problem, I had a problem with main board, I had changed the main board.
Now new problem!!!!
Freezer gets cold but refrigerator stays about 50 degree.
Do I need to reset the refrigerator and if yes, how can I do it?

Yes it could. On most refrigerators the condensor fan is always on when the compressor is. If this is computer controlled it should still come on shortly after the compressor starts. If this stays off the compressor will overheat and cycle on the overheat/overload sensor. THis would definately cause your symptoms as on most boxes all cooling coils are in the freezer and the fridge is cooled by cold freezer air. On a computer controlled model it could be programmed to cool the freezer first then let some down to the fridge.
